Leonardo DA VINCI (b. 1452, Vinci,
Republic of Florence [now in Italy]--d. May 2, 1519, Cloux, Fr.).
He was a painter, draftsman, sculptor, architect, and engineer whose
genius, perhaps more than that of any other figure, epitomized the
Renaissance humanist ideal. His creations Last Supper (1495-97)
and Mona Lisa (1503-06) are among the most widely popular
and influential works in all of recorded history. His notebooks reveal
a spirit of scientific inquiry and a mechanical inventiveness that
were centuries ahead of his time.
We chose the drawings of Da Vinci as the backdrop
for our company because his entrepreneurial and creative spirit is
both motivational and inspiring. Just as Da Vinci lived his life with
a balance between art and science, we believe that our path to success
must include elements of both of those disciplines. Our technical
expertise gives us the ability to provide products with uncompromising
quality, while our emphasis on individualized customer relations allows
